Evaluation
At the start of this project I didn't really know what I was doing I had changed my idea and didn't think about what I needed to do to accomplish that. Many weeks into the project I still hadn't decided on anything or done much for my project. In the final 3 weeks of the deadline I realised how bad I am at time management and started to make decisions and do things for my project Which is why my time plan is so close to the deadline.
what went well:
Looking for the voice actors and picking them went really well and having them deliver my orders really quickly was also good as I could get on with editing them to the clip.
what I could do better:
Next time I need to be fast at figuring out what I need to do for my project and actually making plans for it. I need to get better at time management.
what to take in for next time:
Next time I need to get a real sense of time and plan out what I need to do for my project within the first week or so of the project so I am always working on my project and not wasting time.
Issues I had making it:
One of the issues I had was one of the voice actors pronounced one of the names wrong but once I told him he re did the lines no problem. Another issue overall is my time management which is something I will have to improve on.
what I would do differently if I was to do this again:
Now that I know what I'm doing and how then I'd get on with the things I needed to do and make a list early on on things I need to do and when by. I was hesitant to hire the voice actors but both of them were really nice and cooperative so next time I wouldn't be so hesitant to hire them and would be able to move on to the next part of the project quickly.
I made a re dub of the anime Karneval. I chose a clip were both of the 2 main characters whom I wanted to re dub say an equal and decent amount of lines. I think in the end my project turned out well the lines I payed for the voice actors to do were delivered well and there were no problems other then Gareki's name was said wrong and the voice actor was more then happy to correct it without any problems.
I think I did improve the anime and the characters voices. they differently sound better suited to the characters and I can tell who is talking as the voices suit them better then the original.

ReplyDeleteFORMATIVE : You must return to your research page : Find secondary research for the audience you intend… gather data (other people’s, not yours … this is genuine secondary research) to determine the context and content of your piece. Explain ow are you using your research (interpreting) to influence your filming? Your editing?
ReplyDeleteYou have not yet created documents (storyboarding/shot list, script?) and uploaded to your production page? You began this is September…??? This is not good enough if you would like to progress to the end of this academic year.
Evaluate Ideas, Research, Planning and Production using Rolfe et al reflective model structure.
